Salmon in the ocean will be a reduced season and quota from that of last year. Expect similar reductions of quota in fall river fisheries, including the Umpqua River.
Bottomfish anglers will have to remember that you are only allowed one Quillback, China or Copper in the daily five fish limit.
Halibut fishing looks good due to the large quota, same as last year. ODFW has requested of the PFMC back to back fishing weekends starting on May 14th and three day summer all depth fishing periods (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
